Phil Marriott returns to Gaydio – the world’s biggest LGBT dance and pop radio station – this Sunday with a world exclusive remix from Boy George and Roland Faber.
Kicking off his two-hour weekly radio show with an hour of Gaydio Anthems, Phil will also be chatting exclusively to singer/songwriter Marcella Detroit about her new album, Gray Matterz.
After midday, Phil will give a world exclusive first-play of the Boy George & Roland Faber remix of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bloodstream’.
‘Bloodstream’, a song recorded by Sheeran for his second studio album x, was originally released as a digital download to the iTunes Store last year, serving as the fourth of seven promotional singles from x.
In December 2014, ‘Bloodstream’ was remixed by Rudimental. This version of the song was released on 29 March 2015 as a joint single between Sheeran and Rudimental, serving as the fourth single from x and the lead single from Rudimental’s second studio album We the Generation (2015). This remix peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart.
Following Boy George and Roland Faber’s popular and credible club promos that have included a modern rework of Deee-Lite’s ‘Groove Is In The Heart’, and their recent reinterpretation of George Ezra’s ‘Budapest’, this new update on Sheeran’s hit is a faithful dance remix that will please fans of all artists.
The Boy George & Roland Faber Rework of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bloodstream’ gets a world exclusive first-play on Phil Marriott’s Gaydio show this Sunday from 11am.
