Duran Duran to release ‘What Are The Chances’ as next single cut from Paper Gods

Duran Duran’s next single release will be ‘What Are The Chances’.

The track, taken from their 14th studio album ‘Paper Gods’, is one of the highlights of the latest release, brimming with all the distinctive qualities we’ve know them for since they began their pop journey in 1978. Its slow-burning and brooding feel also serves as a poignant and fitting reminder of the looming festive season. The track features a very special guest in the shape of former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante. The track was produced by Duran Duran and Josh Blair with additional production from Mr. Hudson.

After shooting into the charts at #5 with a flurry of upbeat reviews, the band were subsequently honoured as Q Icons at the Q Awards and also collected the MTV Video Visionary Award at the MTV EMAs a couple of days ago. In addition, their major TV appearances have included Later… with Jools Holland and TFI Friday.

Duran Duran’s November/December arena shows represent their first full UK tour for four years. So far in 2015 they’ve played an intimate charity show for Warchild at Wilton’s Music Hall and a headline set at Bestival.
