Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora released her debut album in March of this year, at the tender age of 19. It’s a hugely impressive collection of songs, and an album that demonstrates the talent of a female artist who is wise beyond her years.
If you’ve seen any of the mystical imagery that adorns her music’s cover artwork, you’ll already have guessed the theme of the track titles even without hearing the songs.
‘Winter Bird’, ‘Through The Eyes Of A Child’, ‘Black Water Lillies’, ‘Conqueror’ and ‘Warrior’ make up a language that embraces both the darkness and the magic of fact and fiction.
During the interview, Aurora (now 20) talks about the meaning of her album title, the generosity and warmth of her fans, her love for David Bowie, and why she has a current obsession with frogs! In the special edition ‘uncut’ video, Aurora also answers questions that have been sent in by her fans.
