philmarriott.net launched in 2016 to provide access to the work of Phil Marriott – radio presenter, DJ, producer and content creator.

This website is the first port of call to find out what Phil is doing, as well as a place to discover the latest entertainment news, reviews and interviews.

Phil Marriott has over twenty years experience in radio, DJ and journalism work. In the last two decades, he has gained respect and trust from key industry figures, and has been crucial to the development of many recording artists, both established and unsigned.

In January 2008, Phil became a full time Drivetime presenter at GaydarRadio, the award-winning LGBT dance and pop radio station. During his time at the station, GaydarRadio won the Digital Commercial Station of the Year trophy at the 2008 Arqiva Awards. The award was presented by Tony Blackburn, the first radio DJ to broadcast on BBC Radio One back in 1967. Whilst at GaydarRadio. Phil also hosted the weekly Secret Sunday showcase at Lo Profile in Soho, interviewing artists such as Beverely Knight, Bright Light Bright Light and Nerina Pallot.

In December 2008, Phil was enlisted by ex-Top Of The Pops producer Ric Blaxill to host the evening show Moon Safari on Bauer Media’s indie-alternative station, Q Radio.

In December 2013, Phil took on the Head of Music role at Gaydio, the world’s biggest LGBT dance and pop radio station. At the same time, Phil became a presenter on the station. You can listen to Phil’s radio show every Sunday from 11am when he launches an hour of Gaydio Anthems, a nostalgic reminder of the biggest classic dance hits. As part of his music controller role, Phil listens to hundreds of music promos each week to determine which songs are strong enough for the Gaydio playlist.

Phil also produces a weekly mix show for radio called In Session, which is broadcast on seven radio stations in the UK, US and Australia.


As well as his work in radio, Phil produces two podcasts, which are available to download here and on iTunes. The Phil Marriott Podcast is available every fortnight and features regular celebrity interviews and reviews. Each week, The Phil Marriott Podcast focuses on music, movies, TV, theatre and nightlife.

On The PMKEpodcast, Phil is joined by singer-songwriter Katherine Ellis, one of the most respected and versatile vocalists and topline writers in the industry today. She currently performs extensively around the world with her vast back catalogue including the huge club hits ‘When You Touch Me’ with The Freemasons, ‘Lost’ by Roger Sanchez and ‘Dreaming’ by The Ruff Driverz.

Katherine is also involved with the BAFTA winning original soundtrack to accompany the movie Gravity, where she performs the title track of the same name.

As an international DJ, Phil Marriott warmed up for Brighton production duo Freemasons at their Shakedown 2 album launch at London’s iconic club, Heaven. A year later, Phil supported supported Tiesto at London’s Victoria Park. Established DJ Lee Dagger from Bimbo Jones also invited Phil to play at his Miami Calling event in Clapham.

Phil has also played for celebrated clubbing brands including SupermartXe, G-A-Y, Fierce Angel and XXL. Phil is currently a resident DJ at Two Brewers and The Hospital Club in London as well as The Edge in Southampton. Phil is a regular resident DJ at the yearly Kate Bush tribute night at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London.

In 2010 and 2011, Phil hosted the main stage at Manchester Pride with the team at GaydarRadio, introducing acts such as K Klass and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

At the beginning of 2014 Phil teamed up with leading London DJ/Producer Rich B to form a remix production duo with Matt Waterhouse Represents. In a short space of time Rich and Phil have produced official remixes for Erasure, Dannii Minogue, LeAnn Rimes, RuPaul ft. Michelle Visage, Dave Aude and Holly Johnson. Rich and Phil also host a regular club night called Enriched at Two Brewers in London, which happens on the second Friday of each month.

As a writer, Phil has contributed to Jack The Lad, GuySpy, Splash, Footloose in London, and more.

After being vegetarian since a child, Phil decided to go vegan in 2016 and now presents and produces a YouTube channel called LDN Vegans. He also produces a regular TV and movie review feature on his own YouTube channel called Boys On Film.
